
Drew K. Baumchen is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer who focuses his practice on the defense of criminal and DUII charges but also handles accident/personal injury cases and general civil litigation. Drew is a former Deputy District Attorney, having spent nearly four years working in the Wasco County District Attorney's Office, in The Dalles, Oregon. As a prosecutor and defense attorney, Drew has personally handled hundreds of criminal cases at nearly all levels, including a large number of DUII cases. Drew has conducted close to 50 jury trials, and has earned the respect of judges, lawyers, and prosecutors for both his courtroom advocacy skills and his knowledge of criminal law and procedure.
Drew is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law, where he gained practical experience by working as an intern for the District Attorney's Office. As a law student, Drew tried almost a dozen criminal cases. Drew also attended the University of Oregon for his undergraduate education, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in Political Science.
Drew is a Washington County native, a graduate of Beaverton High School, and a proud Oregonian. When he is not in court or working on a case, Drew enjoys whitewater kayaking, skiing, and just enjoying the natural beauty that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Drew is also a big fan of the Oregon Ducks football team and NBA basketball.
