Overview
I am an associate attorney with Hillsboro Law Group, where I primarily focus on indigent criminal defense. My commitment is to protect the rights of individuals facing charges and to ensure that every client receives skilled advocacy and fair treatment under the law. Run-ins with the legal system can be some of the most stressful times in one’s life, and I strive to meet each client with the compassion and knowledge they need to navigate their case.
Alongside my defense work, I also assist clients with business and corporate law matters. While in law school, I helped launch the University of North Dakota School of Law’s Business & Non-Profit Law Clinic and worked directly with entrepreneurs and small businesses to get their ventures off the ground. That experience showed me the importance of accessible legal guidance and prepared me to continue supporting local business owners here in Washington County.
I earned my J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law, where I built a strong foundation in contracts, corporate law, and advocacy. During my time there, I participated in a national moot court competition and authored briefs on complex intellectual property disputes, experiences that sharpened both my research and advocacy skills.
In practice, I approach each case with careful preparation, clear communication, and a focus on achieving the best possible results. I believe strong representation begins with listening, and I work to make the legal process as straightforward as possible for the people I serve.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our dog. I am proud to call Oregon home and look forward to using my skills to serve this community.
